I have a bad cold and my nose is constantly running and is almost blocked. I really can’t breath at all through it, which makes sleeping nearly impossible. I’ve been up for almost 30 hrs now. I’ve taken about 6 sudafed pills over the last 12hrs, some nyquil, and nasal spray. I’m drowsy from the sundafed and nyquil, but since there is so much mucus in my nose the spray is worthless. What can I do?

I do suffer from allergies but I don’t seem to be as bad through the day. As soon as my head hits my pillow at night, I plug up solid and can’t breathe. I started taking nasal spray so I can breathe and get a good nights sleep but they say that stuff is bad for you.

And then when I switch sides, the stuffiness goes into another nostril?

I sleep on my sides, but most of the time my back, so I know I’m not squishing it shut. It irritates me so. And now I can’t sleep because I couldn’t breathe before! Any remedies besides switching sides, hot water or nasal sprays? (Do the sprays even work for that?)

I’ve tried a lot of nasal sprays, including nasonex and Ocean, but none of them have worked for me. I consistently wake up with dry mouth and as a result my gums are inflamed. A terrible way to wake up. Much appreciated.

Will Nasal strip or nasal spray work for sleep apena?

I think I have sleep apena. Will nasal spray for nasal strip work to treat the problem?

Lets say I have sleep apena. Will nasal strip or nasal spray prevent it and cure it?
