Ok iam 22 yrs old. I am suffering from stuffy nose from september 2009. It started when i got cold and continued.i consulted ENT doc and had anti-histamines and nasal sprays for a week. And it got a bit better and it was not much bother some but it wasn’t cured. Again i got cold after some days and my nose became stuffy again and this time its really bothering me. This time even anti-histamines,antibiotics are also not helping.

Actually my symptoms are just dry and stuffy nose, no sneezing,no discharge from nose,no headache,no burning. Only congestion. My doc says it is becoz of my expanded turbinates and diviated spectum. My question is, i heard that turbinate reduction is not a better choice because if over reduction is done then i may have to face many troubles again and if under reduction is done then it may not be effective.

If you had this septoplasty and turbinate reduction or you know about this please tell me, was it worthy to have surgery??

Are you facing any problems after a long time ofter surgery??

Up to what extent your surgery helped you, and what are the side effects.

And finally, is it suitable choice for my case? Please give me your opinion! Thanx in advance and 10pts for best answer!

I am getting the vaccination at my school on monday after school, and I really DONT want to get the nasal spray because I have never tried a nasal spray before. If anyone knows or has gotten the vaccination, do they give you a choice, or will it most likely be the shot?thnaks

Hi, i used nasal drops for 10 days.it was relief when i use it but after stopping its usage i faced more nossile blockage than before.
That means using nasal drops increase our dependance on it.

What about nasal sprays? Would they be better option than nasal drops in the view of dependance? Becoz i just want to use when i feel typical blockage and not to use otherwise.
