For all of you out there who would like to save your money for another womanly must have – don’t buy the CHI! Although it works great, there is another solution. Remington “Wet to Straight” hair straightener that is the best!!! It’s only $[...] – cheaper some other places too! It works great, and is durable! I had my first one for 8 years, and finally had to replace it. I almost panicked until I found it again for the same price $[...]. I don’t know the shelf life of a CHI, but 30 bucks for 8 years sounds like a fabulous investment!! Keep it in mind before you make a purchase like this – especially in an economy like this!

Was not a pleasant experience, I purchased the product the first week of December for Christmas. The product arrived damaged a few days later, I contacted Discountjungle for a refund and stated the full amount to be refunded which they approved with an RMA #, along with the reason for my return. I was asked if I wanted a replacement; but, was never informed they would charge a 10% fee if I refused the replacement and just returned the product. After a month they finally sent confirmation of a refund which was not the full amount I had originally paid for the product. In the end all Discountjungle had to say in an email to me was… “We are sorry to find out that you were not aware of our return policy…” I am sure the product would have been great but it was never gifted for use.

This is a good product, but still too much to pay for a straightener. Hair has to be basically dry anyway. I hava a Paul Mitchell for half the price, and it’s definitely good. Although this is a good straightener, it’s not worth twice the price. (And I got a good price on it! About $150 including s/h).
