The unit Shipped fine and timely. Though when opening the package there was a heavy plastic smell that I could not wash away. With the more recent awareness of harmful plastic compounds, I didn’t want to take any chances and returned the unit. I did give it the college try of soaking it overnight in vinegar and water, then with soapy water, the soapy and vinegar water, soaked all pieces. The unit put out a nice mist, but the odor was in the mist also.
Happy with the operation of the unit, style, options, etc. just couldn’t live with the smell.

Got this humidifier when I got a wood pellet stove to heat my house.
The humidifier has not been off since I got it about two months ago. A real workhorse! TOTALLY silent too! I can adjust the humidity level with a dial and I can adjust the amount of “humidity” the humidifier is putting into the room. Both nice features. I looked at many, glad I got this one!

Read prior reviews, and decided on this product. Glad I did! Works great and is extremely quiet… actually can’t hear it at all. My girlfriend decided to get one for her place after seeing how quiet and effective it is. Puts out a lot of cool mist. On high mist setting, you will need to refill 1-2 days, but easy to do. Highly recommend.

While the product is esy to use I found it was inadaquate for the size of our bedroom. It was a cold dry winter and the unit barly kept the humidity at exceptable levels. I also found it made white dust.The makers claim that it will not make white dust, and that was one reason I was willing to pay the high cost for this rather small unit. I would say I am most disappointed in the operation of this unit and not recommend it for purchase.
